    GARDEN Tractors Only

Saturday at 8am will raise the flag and have pledge of allegiance, you are welcome to show up anytime after 7 . Food stand on site with realistic prices, My brother and his daughters take care of this and they are not looking to retire on this event.
EVERYONE MUST SIGN IN !!!!!! we need to know who is here we will have a stand set up for this and name tags to fill out . My wife Amy and her mother are in charge of this.
At 8:45 we will have a short prayer , then I will give a short safety meeting. if you have a problem with any of these stay home! I will also tell you all about Glenn and please bear with me as I sometimes get a little emotional at this.

all plows will have a safety stick attached to them ( a wood lath taped to the beam with a high vis flag on the end, supplied by me) No stick no plowing. those are my rules end

will have some portable tents and welder generator air compressor there if you need it .If you have problems there is lots of free advice.

A porta potty will be on site.

You do not need to plow to come. Bring a chair and enjoy the show. Have some good food and talk tractors.Several people do this every year and have a blast.

the land is flat with some lower parts that may be wet yet but still should have 50 acres to plow. This is Borrowed land so please be respectful. Leave only tire tracks and take only pictures and memories

If anyone wants to Beaver Dam is 5 miles away with 3 hotels. If you make reservations mention my plow day and you will get the same rate as every one else not at my plow day.

I will have a 50/50 raffle the winner gets half the money and I will donate the other half to someone battling cancer. I will have about 20 other items to raffle off also.l pay for EVERYTHING out of my pocket and keep NONE of the money.

I want to add a few tractor games this year. Pm me with any ideas, has to be simple and safe, Dont even mention a tug of war!

" Fill a cart for hunger" I will have a #80 cart there and please bring something a food item or 2 to donate to Trinity Cares , It's my church organization,
For every item you donate you will get a entry in a drawing for a John Deere 175th anniversary baseball.
There is a real need for food this year to help out good folks just falling behind a little with the economic impact of this winter and they need a help

Bring something to sell if you want. Non commision.

Well I hope to see alot of you there and feel free contact to me with any questions or suggestions.

As always bring you wife or girlfriend just not BOTH.
All unattended children will be given 2 cans of red bull and a free kitten.

    Glenn A Oestreich Sept 9 1952-Aug 29 2009

Glenn was a coworker of mine and later a good friend, Glenn was the man that converted me from old ag tractors to garden tractors and then told me to stick to Deere's. Lots of parts and info on them he said. We would have many a talk in the break room about his economy and Power King tractor and us Green nuts as he referred to Deere lovers. He would tell me of plow days and I would think them people must be crazy, was I ever wrong.
Glenn was called home at the age of 56 after a short battle with cancer.
Glenn would have loved this, so this is my tribute to my good friend .
Thanks for all the good talks Glenn.

Awesome, I will plan to be there.

Leave tire tracks and take pictures, but don't leave your camera in the furrow.

Got a GoPro now, hopefully the footage doesn't include it getting covered in dirt or going through a combine in the fall.

If you mention Shannon's name your hotel rates might go up!

No 430 tug of wars? Don't want differential parts and low viscosity hyguard in the field? Must be an organic farm

    Sad news.

Shannon has decided to cancel the plow day due to the ground being saturated and more rain expected before the 29th. We will see what next year brings.
