Before I buy it, will it fit?

I have a 1967 JD112, the exhaust valve is beyond repair. It has the HH100 motor. Can I drop in a 12 horse HH120, Tecumseh engine? If not, Are the valves the same? The tractor is in good condition and it has hydraulic lift. Thanks.

Most of the old horizontal shaft Tecumseh engines from non JD garden tractors have a large bump on the front of the pan. You would need to cut out part of the frame. Not sure about the exhaust valves.

I picked up a Case 130 with a Tecumseh engine and I just looked it's a hh120 but it looks like the bump on the front of the pan would not cause a problem on a rf frame.

If all you need is the valve, I think Lundell Tractor would have one. Jim Lundell has a whole bunch of these machines in his salvage yard, and I will be going up there sometime soon. He is in Kiron, Iowa but I could pick one up and ship it to you, if you wanted.

I will be your friend for life If you can make that happen. Let me know the details. I need to make a day trip, to pick up the 12 horse power motor. While I am in upstate Pa. I plan to pickup the motor and some farm supplies.

I called Jim today and he said that he has some. You just need the exhaust? He said it would be about $5.

Garrett, what about a Tecumseh hh100 carb? Can you ask him how much he would want for one of those?

Isaac, he normally charges about $25 for a carb I think, and those already have a re-build kit in them. Pa3020, If you want to call him, his shop number is 712-675-4341. He normally will call back within a day or two. It's up to you, I'll be going up there probably Friday, so just let me know what you figure out. He's always on the road, and I already had deals with him, so I thought it might work out a little faster if I shipped it, but it might easier without a middle-man.
