    Tractor registry

Hello all, I was just wondering what registering my tractors into the forum does.
like what is the point of it? I will register them but just curious as to why, what does it allow me to do?
Moderators, please move this thread if need be, thank you!

Well if anyone of your tractors got stolen you could provide the serial number to the insurance company. Also it's nice to see how wide spread the tractors are.

As Ed mentioned, it's a good reference source, for you, the owner, for serial number information. Plus, it's an indication of how many of certain models are still in use, that had survived the accumulation of time and use, and does give some indication of production numbers.

I've found it very useful for storing s/n information if there is a s/n break in the parts catalog when ordering parts.

I automatically go to the Registry and click on "My Tractors" to get s/n information ... Gabby

I use it to estimate serial numbers on others tractors I'm working on when I forget to write down or take a pic of the serial plate. My 430 is one off of one in Brookfield. I forget who owns it. It was neat to discover that.
