I'm having trouble with hot-weather starts for my 425. Cool or cold weather, no problem: 3/4 throttle, full choke as I crank, and back off the chock as soon as it pops. Works every time.
However, on hot days (like today), it seems to be very easy to flood the engine, and after that it is very very hard to get it to fire. Lots of cranking and sputtering. I'm not sure what the best throttle/choke strategy is under these conditions. Or the best strategy to avoid flooding.
Anybody have any suggestions?
