    Ross Steering Gear

I took this apart and everything internally was in good condition. I filled it up with new grease. Make sure this fits your tractor before you buy. $25OBO plus shipping from 50666.

I'm not an expert here but I think there are two different gearboxes for closed frame 3XX tractors. 300 & 316K (AM33268) use different gearbox than 312/314/317 (AM35339).

Linkage is different between them which accounts for correct steering direction when you turn the steering wheel. I believe the one shown is for a 312/314/317.

Well now that I look this won't fit any John Deere's. It is too long to fit. I guess this will only fit Cub Cadets.
