Any idea if your I/C would take the same starter as the flathead I pulled from my 111? Stsrter is almost new and the plastic cover is decent. If it would work I'd make ya a good deal.

That’s a good question. Is there any numbers on your engine? I can look to see if they would take the same starter.

I'll look when I get home at some point today. It's the stock engine from the 111.

Doing a quick general lookup, at least as far a Jacks Small Engines. They list Briggs starters by case length, pinion teeth, and voltage. I think the two engines use the same style mounting, so if you could measure that stuff, I’ll measure the starter on my other I/C.

I’ve decided to move the clutch arm outward(1-5/8”) and offset the linkage. The brake arm only needed slightly bent out to clear the engine. I’ll need to trim 1” from the floor under the battery tray, and trim out the battery tray to clear the steering column after positioning the tray 1” farther back.

Jerry, I haven’t remembered to measure my other starter.

Anyone know the length of M41594? It’s the link for the clutch spring. It #14.

Image stolen from an old eBay listing. They are missing on my 60 and both of my father’s 60s.

No big deal, it's still on the old engine sitting in the corner. Probably wont go anywhere till spring at least.
