Got another 3" of the heavy stuff yesterday. The 112 and blower did a nice job of taking care of it out to the road and the 140 with blade worked better up by the garage. Having both on hand is really the way to go. Although I see a cab in my future for blowing snow.

That is awesome! I’ve been pondering the idea of a high crop RF for garden work. That picture doesn’t help

We were supposed to get maybe a skiff last night. We got about 6". So what exactly does a "skiff" look like?

What is a skiff of snow?

The term appears to be colloquial, used mainly in northern parts of the country and in Canada to describe a minor rainfall or snowfall or a light breeze. The Oxford English Dictionary defines a skiff as "a slight gust of wind or shower of rain, etc. Also, a light flurry or cover of snow."Feb 4, 2015

Okay, so now what is a colloquial

I shoveled about 4" of light fluffy snow today. Temp was supposed to be low but was comfortable in flannel shirt and sweat shirt until wind picked up.

You must have gotten our snow. They were calling for 4-5" with wind. We barely got 1" and no wind.

In the Kansas City area we have been in the single digits with wind chills in the below zero range. But by Sunday we are suppose to be in the 50's. Typical Misery (I mean Missouri) weather.
