    430 low Voltage

Is there a voltage regulator on a 430? I had a low battery so I charged it and started the tractor, I checked the battery while running and was only getting 11V output. I checked the tech manual and it didn't mention any kind of voltage regulator. Any thought how I can get a higher voltage output? Thanks

There is non adjustable voltage electronic regulator on the tractor and you just buy a new one and replace it. Roger

There were two alternators used on the 430. Engine serial number 030103 and below was equipped with a Nippondenso 35 amp alternator and engine serial number 030104 and above used the Nippondenso 40 amp unit. Both alternators have the voltage regulators internally mounted. CTM3 describes the procedure for removal and installation of the voltage regulator.
