    I built and repowed 2 317s back in fall of 2002 and covered all the steps on the old WFM website. I think all that thread was lost when the new WFM site was formed,

    Do you have a de-husking glove or wrist attachment to help de-husk the ears? My dad had one hanging up in the machine shed at home. Long gone now. We never hand picked our corn, too many acres. Always had an International 2MHD on a Super MT-A for ear corn and the combine for shelled corn. I remember seeing several of the hand cranked corn shellers at farm sales in the 60's. I grew between Marion and Springville on 151/64. Graduated from High school in 71.

    I think that sheller needs to be run by a hit-n-miss to fit you better. You went way too advanced on that.
