Got my parts in today and got back to work on it. Pulled the heads and was surprised how clean it was inside. Happy to see it has standard pistons and not bored oversize. Need new head bolts because the old ones are a bit rusty and just need replaced anyway. Starter is not engaging properly and just does not feel right so gonna pull the brand new one off my 316 and see if it is better before I put it completely back together. The starter side cylinder wall did have a little more junk and rust in it but a glaze breaker took care of that. Just need to swap points & condenser and assemble plug wires and hook up temporary fuel system until I can get all the fuel system replaced.

If it's cheap ... its probably going to cost a big stack of green in parts.

Got the tractor mostly back together. Have carb to filter line made, bought an electric pump and fittings to replace the old rotted pulse pump. Plan on getting the grommets, fittings and lines to valve installed since it's gonna be a good rainy day to work on that. Had to buy another battery tray since my brother stole it for his tractor.

Looks like a cool project. I just picked up an 88 318 I'm just mowing with it for now until my 332 is back up and running.

You are not too far from me I'm in Lancaster co. I figure you are in the West Chester area?
