    Greetings weekenders!

Posting from northeastern MS, purchased a 318 in January and am awaiting the first lawn mowing so I can test it out! Purchased for $650 plus a PTO switch (was stuck in the on position - no start), 48 inch deck and original engine w/766 hours.

So far, looks like I need to replace a battery (one cell dead, slow crank, plus doesn't fit hold down/rubbing on battery tray bolts) and do the yearly oil change. I've replaced a dash light and all three headlight bulbs. Otherwise it is working well, it had a lot of maintenance done last year so I'll see how it runs before diving further.

I had a 318 for a short time years ago (1998) when I was about 10 years old, so this is bringing back lots of great memories. I had always missed that tractor, so for the price I couldn't turn it down when it popped up locally.

I have just over an acre to mow at my present location, and being military I'll be moving in a few years. However, going to try to keep the machine in the family this time!20200124_165353.jpg
