    The hole at the bottom of the emblem backer is where the spring would hook, Gabby has a earlier or repaired/modified version.

    If you’d like to get the emblem looking better a silver sharpie will do the trick. Carefully color the deer and the raised edge. Wait a minute for it to dry and repeat.

    Yeah, I don't remember how it stayed in place all these 2 years, but when I took it out to clean & paint it won't stay in place. Anyway, now I have the right grill as I said - got it from CL.
