Hase anyone tried to do a cross blade one there mower? Honestly my 47 deck cuts terrible and I really don't see a way of speeding it up any so I stumbled across this idea on the YouTube. What are your options

Never have but I would think that might be difficult. Reason being, the spindle shaft has only enough meat sticking out for one blade to sit on after large washer & bolt are installed. The second blade may slide and throw it out of balance.

Ballard, Inc. sells this adapter to hold the blades at 90 degrees. You might need a bushing to hold it in center. I am not sure how well it would cut.
