STX 38 yellow deck no start. Schematic needed

Could someone be kind enough to direct me to a schematic.

It's been sitting for a bit and a schematic would be the place to start if i get no clicks.

When did seat saftey switches come it use, as this one seems missing.

    It's a bit of a franken tractor

Do a search online for 'stx38 yellow schematic" but view the results with caution! Quite a few come up with many differences! Look at your tractor, compare components, wire colors, etc. Good luck. Bob

Does yours have the Kohler CV12.5 engine?
If so I may be able to help.
I have one that I've had to rebuild multiple times.
The first things I would look into are your safety mechanisms; seat switch, parking brake switch, etc.
These are the most common cause for "no start" conditions.
Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to upload pictures to this forum from my mobile, but I think we can get you squared away.

It is the kohler cv 12.5 with the remote solenoid. Under the seat with a starter relay nearby. Checked the seat switch and am now trying to check the neutral switch.
Does the plug slide or pop off.? Any help would be appreciated

If memory serves me correctly, it is one of those plugs that you have to lift the tab and pull at the same time. Those are always an extreme test of manual dexterity.
Have you tried bridging the contacts on the solenoid yet?
You may try it, just to narrow down your chase.
The STX 38 is a pretty simple machine, after you've gone through it a few times.
    The starter solenoid
    Neutral safety
    Seat switch
    Possibly the ignition switch.
That would be the order I would check.

I found a site that would let me view the schematic, but not download it. I am much more at ease with a schematic in my hands.
Took a picture of the screen with my camera, downloaded the photo, cleaned it up a bit and TA da.
I did get it to crank at the wiring harness that plugs into the key switch, and probably wasted $20 on a new switch.
I checked the seat switch out for continuity when weight is on it. It worked. Dropped the deck and am having a challenge getting the neutral plug off.
    Thanks you for your help.

does the stator gain power from the same line that feeds the fuel solenoid?
