    Hello from Wisconsin

Greetings. Been lurking for quite some time, figured it was time to join the ranks.
Needed a reliable machine to move snow on my new driveway so I picked up a 216 with plow, tiller and rotten mower from one guy, He threw in a MTD walk behind with a broken axle too. 120 miles later picked up a snowblower, same day. A little fixing and it preformed adequately through the winter. Had to pick up weights and chains which came with another blower, sold the blower and got my price on the weights and chains down to 50 bucks. Picked up a good deck in early spring. Then came across a guy getting rid of his projects. 214 blown motor, 2x212 (one he said was running, the other motor was out) and a 210. None were anywhere near operating condition but the 212 had the hydraulic lift system. So I bought the lot. There's a guy about an hour north of me that may purchase the remains after I am done upgrading mine.
Anyhow, I've got a solid running machine, snowblower and deck are redone and like new, tiller and plow will get the same treatment. Oh, and a large mower deck I got with the purchase of four machines.

Question regarding asking a question. Is it better to revive an old thread or start a new one?

    Thank for stopping by.

The answer: Depends. If it's related to old thread continue it. But new problems deserve a new thread.

for old threads if it was started by a still active member you can bring back up as that member may shed some more light on what was talked about.

just my thoughts I have a couple of 140's and been going back threw the hydro tractor section page by page. Im on page 500 or so and just read any threads that peak my interest. Have learned alot and found things I didn't even think about asking.

That's a good question. I'm relatively new even though I've been signed on for years. Still figuring out how sensitive the crowd is about not using the search functions. I have been on many forums and I've found the search functions work only if you have the precise name of the post with the problem you are searching for. Most internal search engines aren't very smart. Some however, do surprise me. It depends on how well the forum utilizes tags I guess.

Regardless, I'm not overly well versed on these machines, but I'm learning new tricks every day here! Some mighty fine (and patient) folks here!

    So, welcome!

Hello Gabby, I'm north of LaCrosse. My first post/question must've been a stumper. 80+ views and no replies.
