Doing the math on Chris's post, 10,000 tractors divided by 4,300 owners, averages out to 2.3 tractors per owner. Seeing how as I only have one, I have fallen down on the job. Sorry, I vow to try to do better.

Bought a 49 blower today. It's seen better days and needs some TLC. I had to pay way too much for it.

    But it came with a 1989 318 with a replacement LX770 Onan and a model 48 deck.

The 318 shows 2600hrs on the clock and the tractor shows it. Other than needing the starter improvement kit everything seems to work fine. Sparks flew out of the chain cover on the blower when I engaged the PTO, so I bet it needs some lube. The tech at the dealer said it's been sitting on the lot a LONG time.

Steve, Its ok you have to start some where. I also did the math and we have six tractors now and think that is not enough but we are out of room it the stable.

    Steve,

a year ago when I had my lone 317 I thought to myself... why do these guys have so many tractors?

    I've still got the 317 and 4 318's now....
