    LS swap

Been working on getting this LS put back together to put in a project pickup. I ordered the intake today with mid msd ignition system. I hope to be on the road with it by May 🤞🏻Can anyone tell the theme? Haha

The roller cam is completely round, so mine on the 317 shows signs of wear. Made the swap this evening after work. Fiddled with the wiring & got front & rear lights working. May be time to pull, grease & paint the deck now.

Been rescuing a seriously abused, neglected, then derilict '78 GoldWing. Took her down to the bare frame, had to renew one head gasket and as usual completely go through the carbs, correct PO issues like all 16 float bowl screws stripped and replaced with various sheet metal and wood screws. Helicoiled all. Rebuilt all brake systems, straightened fenders, rebuilt wiring harness, added turn signals, rebuilt the K&Q seat as stock. Still needs covers sanded and painted so they aren't mounted yet. Hope to roll out back today, add fuel and fire up.

Figured it was time to get this old 72 FXE out of the back of the garage.
Left tank was a little rusty so I dumped some bb's with some Break Away and shook it every 1/2 hour or so for 3 or 4 hours and it cleaned it up like new
Needs a bunch of love before its fit to run again

Moved the 110 with tiller to the shed and brought the 111 down to the shop to remove the 12 horse to put into the 60 and put the 13.5 horse into the 111. I need to do a quick cleanup and organize to prepare for anymore work in the shop.

Johnny 5 is ALIVE! Rolled her out of the garage, added fuel, cranked forever to fill the 4 float bowls, and she fired up!

Was working/driving the 317 around the backyard Saturday and lost all locomotion...no forward, no reverse, and of course downhill from the shop. Got it pushed up by the shop, hernia time, and checked it out yesterday. The linkage pin that joins the hydro linkage rod to the swash plate on the tranny came out somewhere in the yard, will probably find it with the mower later this year. Rejoined the linkage rod to the swash plate with a bolt rather than a pin and managed to get a spring clip on it...we'll see if it holds, fingers crossed. Anway, back in business now...if we get the 4 days of sunshine the weather liars are promising after the 10-day spring monsoon, I may be able to mow our place before the wintergrass is knee high. Wish me luck...come on sunshine!

Put the snow plow on this morning, takes too long to install the blower that I had just taken off last weekend...never fails. Now I have to stay away from people as I have been in-directly exposed to Covid. My gal's oldest daughter works at express med place and one of her coworkers is in hospital with it now. So it self isolate...arg, I'd like to flush 2020 now.
