I am looking at a 110 locally that i cant figure out the year on. It is a serial number in the 8x,xxx range I forget exactly what it is but it shows to be a 1967. But, it has bolt on foot rests which does not make sense to me. It has a 4 speed, 5 bolt hubs, and the serial number tag looks like it has not been removed. What other things could I look at to determine the year?

Are the front spindles held on with a bolt on top (1965) or a snap ring on top (1966 or newer). Does the serial number start with the letter A (1965 or earlier) or a number something like T103****** (1966 or 1967). A picture would also help as would the complete serial number. Roger
