I just brought home a round fender 112 John Deere w/Tecumseh HH100. It started to pull up on the trailer, started when I got home. When I was headed for the barn the generator light came on and the tractor quit. When I turn the key there is nothing, the gen light does not come on, no power at all. The battery is charged. I checked for lose wires, etc, everything seems OK. I'm not much up on electrical trouble shooting so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm at a loss. I know you guys can get me running again, Thanks!! Terry

How old is the battery. It may read fully charged but may be dead. Take it to Auto Zone or Advanced and they will check it for free.

I had a similar experience, and I found out that I had an ignition switch issue. I am not sure how handy you are with a multi meter, but that will help your troubleshooting.
