1992 GT242. When cold, clutch pedal sticks in the down or disengaged position when I press on it. Feels similar to when the parking brake is engaged? I must "kick" it get it to free up. After that, it works fine. Would like some ideas on where to begin to look for the problem.

Thanks

When I replaced primary belt I noticed the PTO break pad was worn down to the metal. They are not available from JD anymore. Can a break pad be attached to the metal bracket? Has anyone tried to do it? I saw some on ebay, but they don't look that great.

Don't see why not - Epoxy should hold it unless someone has a better idea.
