While cleaning up my 68 140 frame, I noticed that the engine has worn the frame down in a couple of spots. Looks to be about 1/32 or so. There is a thin washer brazed to the front left, but not the back left. Someone obviously felt it should be flat. Any recommendations on the way ahead? Fill it in or leave it? Guess I could put some rubber and a washer under it!

I'm thinking that's what the flex plate is for. Can you post some pictures of it?

Drew, not sure yet how to post pics, but from other discussions on the forum, the 68 engine was rigidly mounted to the frame with 4 bolts. There is no mention of a flex plate listed in the PC1078 .(I do not see the mounting bolts either).
