I have a 140 w/ a K321 and i just rebuilt the engine and I have an oil leak. Engine runs great but oil comes out of the camshaft pin hole on the PTO side of the block. Now I built the engine according to the JD manual which says to press the pin until it is flush w/ the bearing side of the block & the Kohler manual says to press the pin in until it is .3-.33 in. into the bearing side of the block. Now which is correct does anyone know.

Been using my GX345 since 2004 to mow and plow snow, this year I bought another 140 and a plow but the engine is weak and needs rebuilt. Jumped on the GX345 and started to plow, then next thing I know I'm in the yard with it still wanting to go forward. The pedal is sticking down for both forward and reverse. Any ideas on what to do before I end up into one of the cars? Thanks for the help.

Allen has the mid deck been of the tractor recently. The dealer preformed service work on my FILs GX345 and you have to remove the upper pedals to take the mid deck off. When they put the mid deck back on they put the upper part of the pedal on the wrong side of the lower part of the pedal shaft which made it rub on the fender deck holes and stick. Dealers make mistakes also. Roger

thanks Roger, I have not had the mid deck off since I bought it, but I checked and sure enough the pedals were catching on the rubber foot pads. I took a razor knife and trimmed them back and so far no problems. Expecting 10" of snow Sunday so needed to get it fixed quick. thanks again. Allen
