I have a 69 140 H3 patio that needs a new steering column. From the research that I have done the early 140's used a AM31923, after 30,000 they used a AM33268. I saw on here while searching that someone put a AM31924 in a 120. I have also been told that the later column can be put in the early 140 but the frame hole for the adjuster nut needs to be enlarged. Is this true? Can someone tell me what other tractors used the AM33268 box?? 300, 312, 316K

Randy go to www.jdparts.com and look up the 140. On the screen you will see a list of searches you can do. One is "where used". Put the part number in that search and JD will tell you every place they used that part number. I will look it up later if you can't find it. Roger

While the 312 and 314 are together in catalog 1618, the 314 uses a different steering box, which works in reverse of the others.
