hey everyone. Starting my restoration on a 1965 110. Trying really hard to get it complete before fathers day to give to my father as a gift. I am having trouble figuring out how the keyed ignition system is wired and what parts I need to get it complete. It currently has a generator and a solenoid. What else do I need. any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.

Voltage regulator, red idiot light and a neutral safety switch. There is a round fender wiring diagram some were on WFM. You might be able to get a new wiring harness from JD, part#AM30363M. I could post a picture if you're going to make one.

Thanks got everything I needed except for the neutral switch. Bought the harness from pedulla brothers tractor here in mass. Now to figure out the problem with all the excess play on the input shaft.

Are you sure the shaft is loose or the hub the pulley is bolted to is loose and moving around. It has a allen head set screw, try to tighten it up.
