My tractor has been down the last couple years.
Need to tube a back tire, or maybe new tires. I hope not really like the original rear tires they used.
Main hold up is rust in the gas tank. Put an ad in the classified for that.

....but if there was any gas left in that carb, I will need a carb kit.
Does anyone know the correct Tecumseh number for the kit.?

...or does it have to be ordered by the Walbro kit number.
Carburetor was new at the time of the engine rebuild, so I didn't have to rebuild it.
That's why I don't have the kit number.

The part number for the rebuild kit is 632347. They are available on ebay.

Was the replacement carb a Walbro, or an aftermarket?

Walbro. No aftermarket parts were used in the rebuild.

Okay, the tank is taken care of. Just have to wait for it to ship and arrive.
That is great.
Will get the tire fixed next week, order a carb kit, call John Deere and see how long it will take to get a gas gauge cap.
Probably order a cover for the seat also.

Found a deal on a draft plate, so I have one of them coming to.
I don't have a mower deck, but maybe some day.
Honestly not even sure I'd use it to mow with.
This tractor has been my work tractor. Pulling carts of fire wood, and helping clean up in hurricane season.

Working on my 1995 Statesman GT 20/50 right now.
Gotta get new blades on it, and figure out why it won't start with the key.
AYP made tractor, 20hp Vanguard with the 6 speed
High low trans like used in the Suburban and Craftsman tractors.

My draft plate came today. Cheapest on eBay by a long way, but it needs some straightening, but should clean up nice.
Most of the ones on eBay no matter the price are damaged in some way. At least this one hasn't been welded on.

I was in the same boat. I just heated it up and hammered it into shape yesterday. Fun bit of blacksmithing as it were.

Going to do the same. I'd much rather straighten one then deal with one that has pitting, or that someone has welded on.

No good news. Back tires are original, and the crack is way to deep to run a tube.
So I'm going to have to get new tires for the back. Not in the budget right now.

The forum member that sold me a tank, never shipped and won't answer any messages.
So absolutely no reason to rebuild carb until I can fix my tank or get another.
I was really hoping to get this tractor up and running soon but it's not going to happen.
