1973 Deere Electric 90. Motors are untested. Fiberglass is in excellent condition. Small rip in seat (shown in picture). Charger, battery cover, clamp and connectors still present. Original Goodyear tires in decent condition and hold air. Deck has slight surface rust from sitting but not rotted thru. $675. Located in Hartville, OH.
This one is great candidate for restoration since all still there! Please post your best questions in the thread since I’ve heard plenty... does it use oil? Do you have the original gas cap? Is the spark plug accessible? PM with questions.

Hi tommyhawk. That’s a great question.

The rider requires 3- 12 volt deep cycle batteries rated for at least 55 amp hr. I have seen some guys jump to 110 amp hr batteries for extended use. These riders were quite rare in their day and were a bit ahead of the times and technology has since grown by leaps and bounds for solid state controls etc. I’ve seen folks talk about mowing 1/2 acre lot on a charge.
