I have been gone for several months due to the birth of our second child and upcoming cross country move. However, I have a chance to purchase a 322 for very cheap. It appears to have been sitting outside for most of its life, and currently does not run due to "Electrical gremlins." The owner says it has been maintained as far as fluid changes and such.
The hour meter says 2000, but who knows if that is actual or not. The owner also said the engine ran good when it was parked over a year ago. It would start and run, but would die after it was warmed up.
I know this model has a history of electrical issues as I have read through some old threads on here. Was just curious how expensive it could get assuming worst case scenario. Is there an ECU in these things that can go bad? If it is just a harness issue or voltage regulator or something, that would be easy to fix, but am not familiar enough with this model to really know how pricey it could get.
I have not told the Mrs about this yet, but I'm sure it will unleash a nuclear meltdown of Fukushima proportions. I could soften the blow by selling one of my 200 series tractors, but I really hate to do that.
Thank you for any help fellas...as always. Joe
