Hi guys I need to replace my steering column on a 74 140 would a 210 be the same ?
210 steering column same as 140 ?

It's to long. You could use the bearings in the 140

The bottom half is the same.
You could get a 212 one and put the 140 worm gear/shaft in it, and cut the outer tube down to the 140 length. Tube is pressed in and dont know that you can get it out without destroying it in the process.
The first 140 I got I got for cheap since the threaded holes in the box were all trashed and the dealer told them it was going to be several hundred to replace.
I got a 200 series one for $5 at a swap meet and made it work.
