I have never seen up close what a 314 or 317 3-point setup looks like and what operates the rockshaft. Does the lift bar that is used on a tiller operate it or does a cylinder? If it is a cylinder, do you hose it up to the mower deck cylinder? I would like to build my own and be as close to original design as possible. Thanks.

Joe, alz welding a site sponsor has some picture of his custom one. It is similar to the jd kit.

You need what's called a rear hydraulic kit for a stock setup, it would probably t off the mower lift lines at the control valve, you would want a lockout valve too, or add h2 levers and separate it.
