First off Nick thanks for the help with my wiring! Newest issue is my fuel pump I removed the line from the carb to see if it is pumping fuel while getting the engine to turn shouldnt fuel come out when doing this? If not how can one tell if the fuel pump is working correctly. Also my spark plug is not firing all the dash wiring is correct thinking maybe the coil or something around the engine has went bad? What procedure would one use to test he coil? Thanks

Should add that I have cleaned the fuel tank with Seafoam prior to installing, has new fuel line, new fuel cut off valve on tank, and new fuel cap. As with the spark plug it's new as well. Oh and the carb was rebuilt all needles are have been reset per Kohler Engine manual. This really gets me as I received this thing on a scale of one to ten shape with it being a two. The PO started it for me using a screwdriver across the solenoid at that time it ran fine. Maybe the solenoid is bad because how he started it?
