I have a 316 also my uncle parked it the next day started it up it started missing the ran on one cylinder and died and then nothing at the key anyone have a clue were to start looking i thought maybe the stater .yes folks i am new just fell in love with the green machines and getting started!

Is it a b43 engine or a p-218? A b series has points, a p does not.

I'd start right at your battery, check for 12v, hopefully 12.6

From there, do your dash lights work? Headlights?

battery terminals can be corroded and you cant se lead corrosion. remove batt terms and clean them with a knife till shiny
