Have a few questions.
My 317 will very slowly creep forward when in the neutral position. Are there adjustments I can make to correct this?

I have a hydraulic line for my deck lift that has a hole in it? Does JD sell these parts?

I am also wondering what is a good engine oil for the Kohler 18hp Magnum.

I would appreciate any and all information.

You can put in your model number on the above JD parts site and find the part number for your hose.

If you do a search on here for "hydro linkage creep" you will find lots of threads on how to fix it. There are several pins and bolts that wear out and probably need replacement.

The nylon bushings and steel roll pins are likely worn on your linkage. Not a real difficult or expensive fix, but will require dash pedestal removal.
As for your engine oil either 30w heavy duty (rotella makes a good one) or 15w40 heavy duty engine oil.
