1984 318. Has two break pedals. Tractor is not running and was pulling it to the front of the house. I had the hydro unlocked but the break was on when pulling it. Now one of the tires is locked up and the other us free. What could it be? The break or transmission? Thanks

Thanks. Meaning the break drum? What can I do to check this once the wheel is off? And how do I unlock it?

JD, you can usually see into the brake drum area by looking into the slot around the drum behind the drum. I have had two tractors that had the brake shoe material come off the metal and wedge into the other brake shoe locking the wheel up and the drum on. I have had good luck replacing the lining material by sanding it and the metal shoe and then using Liquid Nails construction glue to bond it back on to the metal. Hope it is nothing more serious.
