I removed the air cleaner after mowing last night and the carb was spitting gas out of a bleed hole into the venturi area of the carb with the engine off.
This continued till the engine cooled down.
This can't be good as the fuel has to leak down somewhere. Any ideas?

Jack,

Probably a stuck float needle valve. Tap the carb and see if the problem goes away. If that does not work, get a bigger hammer. Works for computers.
