Anyone out there have a secret to remove the roll pin in the linkage for the 318 hydro? I have about exhausted every cuss word known, including a few I invented. I just can't seem to get the leverage and angle I need and I DON'T want to pull the hydro!

I had more trouble getting one back in on my 318.

It seams the local JD dealer subs lower quality common hardware items instead of genuine JD parts.

The sub standard ones would go in about 3/4 of the way then stop. Then I could not get them back out. I had to use a dremel tool to remove them.

So on the 3rd try, I demanded he order me one from JD parts. It went right in with no problem.
