Question, Engine idles high, when under a load it pulls down, off load it idles up higher than normal. Is there an adjustment, or is the governor sticking?
It has a repop Linamar 18hp engine in it.

I would check your Throttle stop on the top engine shroud to make sure that it is allowing the throttle to idle down enough. I would also check the throttle cable position where it is bolted down with the clamp that hold's the Throttle cable it may have moved some, you will need quit a bit of inner cable sticking out of the outer cable shield to make the engine return to a slow idle. There is a spring for the Governor but it is Mainly there to control surging or rapid changes of throttle response. I hope this helps, Kurt
