I just replaced most of the seals in my onan p218
And had the flywheel of and it will not start.
It has spark and fule but it seems as if the timing
Is of and will not start but backfire?

Just guessing that your timing is goofed up due to the ignition rotor/pickup behind flywheel. Either put on wrong side in (should say "flysheel side" on it somewhere), or pushed too far in, or key that turns is somehow messed up. I'd check that area first.
