318. Strange shifting problem

Hydrostat works well other than the gear shifter shifts easy up to 80% forward and 80% backward. Once you get past that it shifts very very hard and you have to hold it at 100%. Any thoughts?

Charlie, make sure your brake pedals are fully returning when you release them. If the pedals don't come up all the way they interfere with the hydro lever. As you know, depressing both brakes returns the lever to neutral.

Check the linkage from lever to hydro unit for wear, see attached link.
