Would like to adjust the hydrostatic transmission creep. I have the linkage type S/N 477789- up. I have the older TM-1277 manual and it looks to only cover the older turnbuckle style.

There is an essentric bolt that adjusts it out on the front part of the linkage. I find it easier to adjust while the tractor is running and on jack stands. Watch for moving parts though.

I think the '88 318 would be the same, but earlier 318 tractors are a bit different as seen here:
