I presume you mean the voltage regulator, and if so it's location is well described but not specifically illustrated in the TM1591 as shown here:

Here is a thread with some pictures of the newer style regulator with the added pigtail, but it does not show it on the tractor...

Ok super as always chuck..

I replaced rectifier and tractor starts right up with zero yellow lights on. It appears to be working just fine. my only question is that I may have reversed the two wires coming out of the alternator. I'm not sure if it would run right or not....

Makes no difference, its AC current.
