I have a 322 that has been acting strange for a little while now. It starts great and runs great when cool (idle to high speed, you name it). While mowing it doesn't miss a beat however as soon as I turn off the PTO and idle it down it misses to the point of wanting to die out. It sounds although it is getting an intermittent spark. At this point if I engage the PTO and open the throttle up it will run just as smooth as can be. Ideas gentlemen?

Hello Kyle
It sure sound to me like your float level need's to be adjusted. I had a similar issue with my Onan P-218 in my 318 and it was Boiling over when I shut it off Hot. On a re-start it would whirl over a bit them start and blow out black smoke. I adjusted the float level and it took care of my issues. I hope this help's, Kurt
