Hi All,

I just put new 4 ply front tires on a 322 I bought this summer will that be okay for plowing snow? Or do I need a solid tire? I’m using the JD 4 way plow these tractors were sold with and it’s pretty dang heavy. Just wondering before I blow a tire out.

You should be fine. I have ran turf tires on my 318 with 54 blade one winter to move snow and even left mower deck on with it supported up and gauge wheels removed from deck. I had hurt the engine in my blower 318 at the time. Any how the turf tires are 5 years old now with no issues yet.

I run tri ribs now and used my old 50 year OEM tires prior to that
