I warmed up my 322 before I was planning on changing the trans fluid and I had it at full throttle when I shut her down. As it shut down it threw a sparks out of the exhaust. So I started it again and throttled it down then shut her off and once again she threw a few sparks out the exhaust. I never shut it down at full throttle, always throttled down. What just happened? I’ve never seen this before.

You're killing the spark before the fuel pumps kicks off, so a little fuel lights off in the hot exhaust. Mine does the same occasionally, and just barely the longer I let it run slow and cool down.

Maybe the muffler breaking down internally and the hot metal flaking off inside is being pushed out? It probably still has a long life ahead of complete failure yet. I'd say don't worry about it.
