330 diesel trans

Can anyone tell me if a 330 diesel is supposed to have a transmission cooling fan? I dont know if this one is missing, or if this model just doesnt use one. Thanks!

One downside to the 330, 332, and 322 is their lack of transmission cooling. No fans and no hydro fluid coolers either.

Dan,

There was an optional cooler that is NLA. I made my own custom cooler for my 322 and 332. It should also work with a 330 but I have never tried it. The details are in the Technical Archives.

Thanks for the info, It seamed awful hot to me, so I went to clean out the belly screen etc. and along with grass and leaves, I found a snake in there! Needless to say, i didn't expect that, so I did what any schoolgirl would do, I hiked up my skirt and ran for the hills. Always look in there BEFORE sticking your hand in.
