Haven't been around awhile, but needed some input on an issue I have. When I got my 330 it had been rolled out of the back of a trailer on a dirt road and into a ditch when the PO didn't tie it down. I straightened all the metal work, bought a bunch of new parts and did a frame off semi-restoration on it. The other issue was the pump was shot from falling out of the trailer and onto the wheels, so I got one from my cousin from a 332. I bought a 420 rear diff for the lock and low/high ratio. Everything works fine except on thing.

The hydro lever does not go all the way forward for full speed either in low or high gear. It doesn't bother my when mowing or pulling or any other usage, and I have always lived with it. Now I would like to fix it so it works correctly. Here is the interesting part, when it heats up after mowing for awhile or pushing snow for quite sometime, the lever will move to full forward speed, but the engine has to be hot after running for some time.

Any Ideas?

Dan, you think the heat allows the shock to move more when hot? I guess I din't think of that maybe I will remove it and see if the linkage frees up when cold, if so I guess that would be my culprit.
