Is the fuel line on a 332 that runs from the fuel filter to the fuel injection pump something special? The JD parts catalog shows the part number is M800089 and it is 7 1/2 inches long but it doesn't provide a reference as to what they cut it from and it is NLA. Do I need anything special here or do I just use normal non-fuel injected fuel line?

I don't know the part number but JD was able to get me the hose with the metal banjo fitting on it alread. If you can't get that PN then just doing rubber hose rated for dieseld would work if needed.

A lot of rubber gas hose isn't rated for diesel and will break down over time. Then again, a lot is fine for either gas or diesel. When I replaced all the rusted hard lines on my diesel Tahoe, I made sure (and paid a good bit more) to get diesel-spec hose.

The fuel line should be rated SAE 30R7. That is a low pressure line.

Thanks to all!

All my other fuel lines were clearly marked Goodyear 30R7 but this line was very shiny black with no markings so I wasn't sure if it was anything unique.

All lines have been replaced with Gates and are rated 30R7. Line in tank replaced with Tygon. Hopefully all good for another 20 years.
