I hoped it would be just a drain plug gasket leak but it looks like the oil dripping down onto the top of the deck is coming from the crank seal maybe? It's hard to see up in there, how hard is it to replace the front oil seal. (Front as in front of motor but rear of tractor under the water pump?)

Jay, it's not hard. I removed the engine to do mine, but others have said they did it with engine in place.

May be from the breather hose.
