I recently received a 2000 RPM rear pto for my 332. I have a copy of the installation instructions. I have reviewed the parts breakdown on Jdparts to better understand how it all fits together. On Jdparts it shows a grease fitting, spring and o-ring on the connector that slides onto the shaft coming out of the hydrostat pump. The pto I received does not have a grease fitting, were there different versions of the kit? Does the o-ring just slide over the shaft? I don't have the tractor apart to have a close look at the shaft.

Bill, the older versions did not have the o-ring or grease fitting. The splines on the end of the shaft you have go all the way to the end. In the o-ring version, the spines do not go all the way to the end allowing a place for the o-ring to seal against the shaft and the output of the trans.
