I just acquired another 4 way blade, it is not a 300 series type blade due to the wider mount other than that they are very close in appearance. I would like to know if anyone has a measurement for a 420 or 430 mount so I can compare it with mine. Also does the 400 use the same mount as the 420 and 430? For some reason I was thinking it was different. Thanks, Steve

It's different.
400 has same measurements top and bottom
318 has same measurements top and bottom

420 &430 have 400's measurement at top
.....................318's measurement at bottom

I had 1 420/430 blade that looked like this.

The buyer cut off the sleeves and is using it on a 400.

Then I got this one with my 430

I cut the end plates off the one I had & added 1" to each side, then welded the end plates back on to fit my 420!

Thanks so much all of you, looks like I have a 400 blade because it is wider at the top and bottom than my 300 series.

I did the same thing to my 318 mount, because of the availability over the 420 mounts. Added 1" and it works perfectly.
