They are out there, ask me how I know.........

I suspect that by the time I feel ready to sell my freshly rebuilt K532, somebody will have found a rod that fits or requires only minimal machine work to make it so.

It is true w/many other applications such as this. But just in case nobody does, I'm setting on mine in hopes that supply vs demand will pay off.

I don't. I didn't mean to say I had a secret. I rebuilt mine about four years ago. There was no problem locating ANY parts. I would have bought up some more for myself.

Most likely there will others come along in the years ahead and develop/market better repower units if nobody develops a connecting rod for the poor old K532.

They haven't in the JD Two-Cylinder market. That is to say many items are not available. If you have a set of LPG pistons, then you have money in the bank....until some wise guy makes them. LOL

Someone mentioned recently that the rods are still available for the bigger K's and will fit. IIRC (????????)

Mark,I rebuilt my 532 2 yrs. ago. At that time the rods were the only parts I could not get. .10 under rods for a K582 were still available. Now??? Anyway, that is what I installed. Wrist pin end not as heavy as the std. K532. Machine shop said shouldn't be a problem. Still pulling strong as of today.
